Summer Camp at Elite

2½-hour, Weekly Instructional Camps, Half-hour to One-hour Specialty Classes, and Half-hour Swim Classes for 3½ Years & Up.

During the summer, we offer a variety of weekly, 2½-hour camps. Please see our schedule below for our specific activities and times offered. Activities at Elite help develop eye/hand coordination, perceptual motor skills, spatial awareness, directionality, and listening skills.  

For summer 2021, we are following CDC guidelines. We are offering summer camps, swimming classes, and private group lessons with a limited class schedule. Camps & Swimming meet four times per week

 

Class Descriptions

Gymnastics Camp (7-12 yrs.)

Classes incorporate gymnastic apparatus, trampolines, cheerleading techniques and more. Activities at Elite can help develop eye/hand coordination, perceptual motor skills, spatial awareness, directionality, and listening skills.
NOTE: Please send your child in their bathing suit with a towel, change of clothes, & a water bottle. Swim is the first half hour of Camp.

NinjaZone® & Rock Climbing (7-12 yrs.)

NinjaZone is a combination of gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle course training, and breakdancing. They learn how to tumble, and kick, and eventually learn stunt techniques (such as flipping off walls). The class combines coordination from gymnastics, the discipline from martial arts, the strength and agility from obstacle course training, and the creativity from breakdance. It’s awesome for kids with energy. The class is fast paced—it begins with a running warm—up, and then students are taught skills.
NOTE: Please send your child with sneakers & a water bottle

Lil Ninja & Swimming (4-6 yrs.)

Lil Ninja is a combination of gymnastics, martial arts, and obstacle course training. They learn how to tumble, and kick, and eventually learn stunt techniques (such as flipping off walls). The class combines coordination from gymnastics, the discipline from martial arts, the strength and agility from obstacle course training, and swimming. It’s awesome for kids with energy. This camp is a combination of martial arts with swimming.
NOTE: Please send your child in their bathing suit with a towel, change of clothes, & a water bottle. Swim is the last half hour of Camp.

Swim Classes (3 yrs. & up)

Swimming classes are designed to meet four objectives. First, we emphasize the necessity of safety in and around the pool. Second, we focus on cardiovascular fitness and strength. Our third objective is to teach fundamental swimming skills as a foundation for further development. And our fourth goal, encourage enthusiasm about recreational swimming; allowing each child to work at a comfortable pace, ensuring safe and confident swimmers.
